QuizArenaX is operated by GlobalStatsX Platform ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you when you use QuizArenaX and how we use it.
Information We Collect
When you use QuizArenaX, we may collect:

Account information: Your email address and display name when you sign in (via Google or guest mode).
•
Game data: Your scores, answers, game sessions, and leaderboard rankings.
•
Technical data: Your IP address, device type, app version, and basic usage information for stability and improvement. On the web build, your IP address is also processed by our hosting, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising providers.
•
Push notification tokens (Android): If you grant permission, we store an anonymous device token so we can deliver "Your turn" and match-result notifications. The token is deleted when you sign out or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
•
Messages you send us: If you contact us through the Contact Us or Report a Problem feature, we receive the message you send.
We do not collect payment information, location data, or contacts.
How We Use Your Information

To provide the game (saving progress, calculating scores, leaderboards).

To respond to your messages and support requests.

To improve QuizArenaX (fixing bugs, adding features).

To prevent fraud, abuse, and cheating.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate QuizArenaX:

Supabase — database and authentication

Google — sign-in (only if you choose Google login)
•
Google Analytics 4 — anonymized usage analytics on the web build
•
Google AdSense — advertising on the web build (see “Cookies and Advertising” below)
•
Sentry — error tracking and crash reporting (anonymized error data)
•
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Android push notification delivery
•
Expo Push Service — cross-platform push notification infrastructure
These services have their own privacy policies.
Cookies and Advertising
On the web version of QuizArenaX (quizarenax.com), we use cookies and similar storage technologies to operate the service and to display advertising. We use them for:

Session and authentication — keeping you signed in across page loads
•
Preferences — remembering settings such as your selected category or layout
•
Security and abuse prevention — detecting anomalous activity
•
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure aggregate usage (page views, session duration). Data is anonymized and not tied to personally identifying information.

Advertising — Google AdSense and its advertising partners may set cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and to other websites.
Third-party advertising vendors: We use Google AdSense to display ads on the web build. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. Google may use its DART cookie (or successor identifiers) for this purpose.

On first visit from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our cookie banner asks you to accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies before they are set. You can revisit your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for quizarenax.com.
Our native mobile apps (Android, iOS) do not currently serve ads and do not set advertising cookies.
Push Notifications
QuizArenaX sends push notifications to keep you informed about your active matches — for example, when an opponent has played their move ("Your turn!") or when a match has finished. Notifications are routed through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android and the Expo Push Service.
You can disable notifications at any time from Menu → Notifications, or from your device's system notification settings. Your push token is stored solely for delivering match notifications and is deleted when you sign out.

To delete your account and all data, go to Menu → Delete My Account. This action is immediate and irreversible (GDPR Article 17 — Right to Erasure).
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:

Right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.

Right to delete the personal information we hold about you (use Menu → Delete My Account, or contact us).
•
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
•
Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of a monetary exchange. However, the use of advertising cookies described above may be considered “sharing” under California law. To opt out of personalized advertising on this site, decline the cookie banner on first visit, or use the opt-out links in the section above. Children
QuizArenaX is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
